Special Needs Research Unit at the University of Warwick. |

Education, University of Virginia, web site. It features thirty
different nursery rhymes in a fun and appealing approach to fostering an

the month of October it hosts the International Stuttering Awareness Day (ISAD) on-line
Conference.

Apraxia-Kids
This recently revamped web site is
aimed at multiple audiences, including parents of children who have been
recently diagnosed with developmental apraxia of speech (DAS), parents of
late talkers, teachers and speech-language pathologists. It also provides a
constant stream of information for parents of older children with DAS who
are negotiating the challenges of school, the workplace and life in general.
It provides
abundant support, well-referenced information, and links to carefully selected resources.

Words Project
This is a model early identification and intervention program based in the
Department of Communication Disorders at Florida State University. Staffed
by speech-language pathologists and interdisciplinary consultants, the
project is funded to evaluate the communication development of children from
6 to 24 months of age. The site makes an immediate and practical
contribution to clinical practice with its handout
materials which can be downloaded and printed. |
