Without my husband Don Bowen's unflagging support, creating and maintaining speech-language-therapy.com in 1998-2011 would have been difficult, and building and populating the new site in Sep-Dec 2011 impossible. I also have many others to thank whose contributions great and small, practical and financial, are sincerely appreciated.

Why donate?
This site, www.speech-language-therapy dot com, receives up to 4.7 million hits every month. This translates into over 187,000 visitors per month, with some visiting once and others visiting a few or many times.
Each month the site's visitors download at least 3.3 million html, pdf and pptx files contaning speech-language pathology related information and resources. The more downloads there are, the more bandwidth the site owner has to pay for. In other words, with the increasing popularity of the free information and resources available at www.speech-language-therapy.com, the more the site's running costs increase. Accordingly, after 14 years (June 1998 - July 2012) of 'freebies', donations towards upkeep are now actively being sought.
Thousands, from over 150 countries use the resources. Since August 10 2012, individuals and institutions from 13 countries have made 206 donations to help maintain this site. If you would like to help by joining this fantastic (I think) band of donors, please click here to find out more.
Donations per Country
The current top 10 downloading countries, in order of volume of downloads, are the US, Australia, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada, Singapore, South Africa, Italy and India. These are followed, in order of volume of downloads, by Japan, Sweden, France, Thailand, Turkey, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Indonesia, Argentina, Poland, Portugal, Philippines and Mexico. Donations have also come from countries that are not in the top 25, namely Bahrain and Malaysia
