The phonologicaltherapy (phono-tx) group is a discussion group or electronic mailing list in which Speech-Language Pathologists, Linguists, other language, speech and hearing professionals, and students seek input, share experiences, expertise and resources, and debate theoretical issues related to speech and language development across the lifespan, children's speech sound disorders, and related issues.

Phono-tx has an extensive files area containing child speech related articles, assessment resources and therapy materials. It also has a links area with many child speech related links. Members of phono-tx can browse and search the message archive which comprises a permanent record of discussions since December 2001.

Consumers
Unlike the outstandingly good Apraxia-Kids lists, this is not a "support group" for parents. Speech-Language Pathology consumers will find the discussions tend to be quite technical. While interested consumers are very welcome to join, please bear in mind that phonologicaltherapy is for professional discussion, not consumer advice. Consumer members are respectfully reminded not to post their personal stories, or requests for diagnostic or intervention advice for their own children.

Participants
The group includes students, clinical practitioners, lecturers / teachers, and researchers in the areas of speech-language pathology, speech and hearing science, linguists and a few parents of children with speech sound disorders. Numbers fluctuate a little as people come and go. The group's membership has grown as follows:
