phonological remediation. Seminars in Speech and Language, 23,

The article, 4a, is about conventional minimal pairs therapy, maximal oppositions therapy, multiple oppositions, and empty set. There are a couple of errors in the multiple oppositions section of the Barlow & Gierut article above. Be sure to read the Williams (2002) correction, 4b, too! |

Hello! The files in this section are an expanded version of a Short Course called Phonological intervention: It’s about time that Lynn Williams and I presented at the 2004 ASHA conference. Lynn presented on preschoolers and I presented on school-aged students. I am in the process of shaping the presentation into a book, tentatively titled A Quick Reference Guide to Late Acquired Sounds. The files are the completed or nearly completed-- parts of the book. You are welcome to use the resources in the files as you will, including copying exercises, etc. I would appreciate hearing from you if you find things of interest or have suggestions and criticisms. I hope you find the information useful. February 24 2005 |
